These terms apply to the Sport MCP app, this website and the Sport MCP connector (together, the service), operated by David van IJzendoorn. By using the service you agree to them.

The service

Sport MCP is a workout log. You can also connect an AI assistant of your choice, which can then read and update your training data. The assistant is provided by a third party, not by us.

Not medical advice

Sport MCP does not provide medical advice. Workouts, weights and suggestions shown in the app, including those created by an assistant you connect, are information only. Strength training carries a risk of injury. Talk to a doctor before starting a training program, particularly if you have a medical condition, and stop if you feel pain, faint or dizzy. You train at your own risk.

Assistants you connect

An AI assistant can make mistakes, including unsafe or unsuitable training suggestions. Check what it plans before you lift. We do not control the assistant and are not responsible for what it produces. Your use of the assistant is governed by its provider's terms.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for activity in your account, including the actions of assistants you connect. You must be at least 16 to use the service.

Your data

Your workouts and measurements are yours. You give us permission to store and process them to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: do not try to access other people's data, disrupt or overload the service, or use the connector for anything other than managing your own training data.

Availability and changes

The service is in beta. It may change, have errors, or be unavailable at times, and features may be added or removed. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Liability

The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for injury or loss resulting from training you choose to do. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

Ending

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time from the app's settings.
